We use Umami analytics to count page views — which pages are visited, from which country, and on what device. This helps us understand which tools are popular. Umami is privacy-focused and does not use cookies or track you across websites.
We count how many times each tool is used — stored only in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device. It powers the "recent tools" section on the homepage.
Google AdSense may collect data when you view or click on ads — standard advertising analytics. This is handled entirely by Google and is separate from PDFly.
Your favorited tools and recently used tools are stored in localStorage so you can access them quickly. This data stays on your device only.
Your PDFs and documents are processed in your browser. We never see, access, or store their contents.
File names are never transmitted to any server. They exist only in your browser tab while you work.
We don't collect names, emails, IP addresses, or any personally identifiable information. No accounts, no sign-ups.
PDF properties like author, creation date, and edit history are never read or transmitted.
All data below lives in your browser's localStorage. Clearing it removes the data from this device — it has no effect on our servers (because we don't store anything).
Analytics are enabled. Toggle off to set a cookie that disables Umami tracking.
